Body Style Code
The 68 stands for 1968.  The 12 stands for Camaro, the 4 is constantly a four regardless of the body type  or engine. The next two digits are either 37 coupe or 67 convertible.

Assembly Plant
NOR = Norwood, Oh
LOS or VN = Los Angeles/Van Nuys, Ca

Body Date Code
The first two digits are 01-12 and correspond with the model year not the calendar year.  The
letter (A-E) corresponds with the week of the month.  So 02B would be February, second
week, 1968.
